My Dallas Trip…
All right lets take this blog back to the end of February…
Im working out at 4:50 and take a water break and pick up my phone and of course end up scrolling Facebook and seeing a shoot out posted in one of my photography groups I am part of in Dallas annnndddd lets just say that by 9am, I had my flights, hotels, and car rental all booked.
One of my favorite things about what I do is connecting with all the amazing other boudoir photographers and amazing creatives I get to meet when I go to these shoot outs and workshops. You get to see how everyone kind of works, and just experience things differently. It’s the biggest puzzle I cannot wait to put together. I’m not sure if it’s astrological or just me used to being in and working in high stress environments but I love the challenge each session brings especially in first time locations and shit. Throw me into a new space, im so fucking down lol
Anyways back to the shootout lol The flight honestly wasn’t that bad, I literally cannot do connecting flights, so my ass booked straight flights. I’ve got tiny ass legs and I swear the terminals are always opposite sides of the airport hahah so straight flights is a way I can make it easier on myself. I got there in the evening and got my rental and went straight to the hotel. Which was fucking GORGEOUS!!!! I swear this hotel was the fanciest I’ve ever been to and it was so fucking pretty inside! Definitely had a rustic feel to it and was a whole ass vibe.
I went to the shoot out at Photo Loft Co in Dallas and was able to shoot 3 amazing models with a bunch of amazing photographers! It was honestly so much fun and I cannot wait to go back! Anna and Oscar, the owners, were honestly so amazing and I loved the spaces they created! And literally everything was such an amazing experience and being able to connect with my peers from far away. It was just fucking amazing!
The morning before I attended the workshop I also did a session in my hotel room! Which was so fucking gorgeous! Literally such an amazing weekend of just doing the thing I love!
Honestly, Dallas from what I was able to see was so gorgeous and I wish I could’ve spent more time exploring what was around me. Maybe next time! Who’s ready to book a travel session?! Lesss Gooooo hahaha
